Our Story

The Gospel Changes Everything began in 2019 as a small, persistent stirring deep within Alisha’s heart to create content that would inspire and help women grow deeper in their knowledge and love of God.

Throughout Scripture, God encourages His people to love Him with their entire self — heart, soul, mind, and strength. Why? Because He doesn’t just want religious duty or a fake performance, He’s asking for pursuit of Him. He wants a relationship. He wants us to follow Him, fully committed and growing daily. He doesn’t want perfection, He wants dependence.

Our greatest calling is to pursue and love God. By grace through faith we are made new, no longer chained by sin and (re)purposed for the kingdom to come. This new, high calling starts with the truth of His word. We meet God in the pages of Scripture, the medium He chose to reveal His whole self to us, a grand narrative of Christ’s redemptive work in the lives of His people. You'll hear us say this A LOT - HEAD, HEART, HANDS. As we dwell on the truth of the Gospel, our minds are renewed and our hearts are stirred to a deeper love, and our lives progressively transformed. The Gospel is a message of freedom and unconditional love, a transformational message that we are compelled to share.

Whether you are sitting at home in your sweats and sipping your morning coffee, on a quick lunch break at work, or nursing your baby to sleep, we hope you stick around for a bit.

Welcome, friend.

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

John 8:31-32(ESV)

What we believe

Trinity

God eternally exists in one divine essence and as three persons (God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit). Each person is equally God and fully God, and there is one God. Our triune God rules and reigns over all - all is from the Father, through the Son, and by the Spirit. Matthew 28:19, 1 Corinthians 8:6, John 14:26, John 15:26, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Matthew 3:16-17.

God’s Word

The special revelation of God in which God has made himself known to us through the Scriptures. His Word is authoritative, inerrant, and sufficient for all that it teaches and commands of God's people. 2 Timothy 3:16-172 Peter 1:20-21, Psalm 19:7, Revelation 21:5, Matthew 24:35, Hebrews 4:12-14.

Salvation

The salvation of man is the work of a sovereign God. God predestined his people for election, and his people are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, Romans 10:9-10, Acts 4:12, Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, Romans 6:23.

Baptism

Following conversion, believers are baptized in water as a symbol of regeneration. Baptism points to the union Christians have in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:1-14, Matthew 28:19-20.

Marriage/Divorce

God has designed marriage as a covenant to reflect the gracious relationship with Christ and his church. Marriage is intended for man’s sanctification, man’s joy, and thus God's glory. Grounds for divorce and thus the breaking of this covenant are primarily seen in both abandonment (thus showing oneself as an unbeliever) and/or adultery. Genesis 2:18, Ephesians 5:22-33, 1 Corinthians 7:12-16, Matthew 19:3-9.

Sexual Ethics

Gender is rooted in God's design for his creation (male and female). Any deviance and/or disorder is outside of God's design. Genesis 1:27-30, 1 Corinthians 10:31, Psalm 1:1-3, Psalm 128:1-4.

Role of Mankind

Men and women are created equal in value and purpose and yet different in role, according to God's design and order. God intended for men and women to compliment one another in both the home and in ministry. Genesis 1:27-30, Genesis 3:16, 1 Corinthians 11, Acts 12, Romans 16, 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1.
